Listening to the intro to the SFMTA/SFE hearing on curbside charging, and once again heard the importance of SF's Transit First objectives.
And it hit me, Transit First implies transit, it does not imply all the alternatives to driving a car.
What the focus needs to be setting it up so that car use (private cars, TNCs (Uber, Lyft) , taxis) are the least favored option, ie Cars Last by choice, not dictate.
